My First Short film
Synopsis:
Out of Left Field follows a father and son’s efforts to connect over a game of catch. However, the son’s obsession with his phone gets in the way. The son must decide whether to choice his obsession or being present in the moment with someone who cares about him.

I took a lot of inspiration from the 2D cartoons I watched as a kid. I really like the bold graphic designs and layouts of Maurice Noble and I wanted to include some of those elements in the character and scene design.
